Yuhe Shi
I have actively participated in various volunteer activities, which have been meaningful and rewarding. One of the most memorable experiences has been performing art for the elderly at a retirement home, where I played the harp and organized performances with my classmates. These events brought joy to the residents and allowed me to develop a deeper sense of compassion and responsibility. Additionally, I have assisted the staff at the retirement home by distributing food, and I have volunteered as a teaching assistant and a junior instructor, helping students and supporting teachers. These activities have provided valuable life lessons and enriched my understanding of community service.
Throughout these experiences, I’ve had the opportunity to capture beautiful memories through photos and videos, which remind me of the positive impact we can have on others’ lives. Each moment spent volunteering has taught me the importance of empathy, teamwork, and giving back to the community, and these experiences have greatly shaped my personal growth.
